These things are money!

I have a fairly large arsenal of big boards and found these to be my current favorites. They are very manageable considering the girth in the waist and I found them very easy to ski in most all conditions (okay, maybe they don't kill it in the trees and the bumps, but who cares?). The XXL's are a little softer than their predecessor the legend pro, which makes them very easy to throw on edge etc. I can't recommend these boards enough. Two thumbs up! |

Great ventilation

When I wore these running on a local trail, the first thing I noticed was the breeze I felt coming through the shoes. Talk about breatheability! Not to mention when you have the occasional creek crossing, the water drains out like a gutter has been built into the shoes. The traction and sole wear is exceptional as well. I'll be coming back to the pro2, it's a winner! |

Maui "Gems"
08-22-04 ![]() |
I am most impressed with the clarity and color enhancing tint of the Maui Jims. This is by far the most superior lense technology that I have been exposed to. In the past I have worn Vaurnet, Smith, Revo, Spy, and Serengeti. These puppies smoke the competition! Once you put the "Gems" on, you don't want to take them off. |

This thing rips!

Not sure what VCT this other reviewer was skiing, but I have been hammering on mine all year and had no problems. This ski is well built and rigid enough to blast through crud and make you a rockstar in the pow. |

Floatin' it..
12-26-06 ![]() |
I was a little skeptical at first, but it was all laid to rest after I got on the new ARG's. These things will float you over the ruts and allow you to send it whenever you want. There is a little learning curve involved in controlling these bad boys on the hard pack, but is definitely worth it when you're hitting the FLUFF! |

This is possibly the best trail runner I have owned!

I have ran/hiked in every major brand out there, but the Lafumas definitely stand out as one of the best. The sole is a little more rigid than others in the same category, which allows you to cover very rough terrain without quite the impact on your feet. The cordura outer rand lends to great durability as well. Not to mention, the lacing system allows narrow, medium and wide widths to fit properly in this shoe. I'm giving it 3 thumbs up! |

| The North Face Tadpole 23 Tent 2-Person 3-Season This product is no longer available |
Unbelievably light and easy to pitch
08-22-04 ![]() |
The Tadpole has been serving me faithfully for nearly 3 years now and its predecessor the bullfrog, nearly 10! This is one of the most tried and true designs in 3 season tents on the market today. The North Face has been using this geometry for 12-15 years very successfully. I am able to pitch the tent in minimal time and enjoy all of the benefits of a sub 5 pound tent. What can I say, The North Face takes it again! |

Big trouble in the BC!
02-13-06 ![]() |
A true big mountain Jib ski! This ski has the girth of a big mountain board with a slightly softer flex and of course the necessary twin tips. This is a niche ski and a great match for the skier who is ready to take the park into the backcountry. |

top notch PFD
08-22-04 ![]() |
Wow, I thought that most PFD's were comparable in quality, but the strait jacket is leaps and bounds above the competition. The upper cut of the jacket allows the boater a myriad of room that eliminates chafing against the coat when paddling. All of the primary flotation in is in front and behind the paddler, where it belongs. From flat water to big water, the strait jacket can take it all in comfort! |
