I wanted to buy a pair of shorts that I can wear over a pair of board shorts and the bishop fit the bill. I'm a 32 waist so I went with a size 34 and they pretty much fit like a 34. Don't know why they said slim fit, but from seam to seam it measures at 11 inches. Plenty of pockets for your junk and and the material has a nice textured feel to it. Great price also!

....if you like your shorts hangin' low below your waist line. I bought a size 32 and these shorts sit like a 34. They are comfy so now they're like my favorite everyday house shorts.

I'm a 32 waist (really hard to find size here in the outlet) so I gambled on a 31... and it paid off! I think it has to something to do with the material being part spandex that allows for versatility. They look and feel great! Kinda of an odd place for the volcom logo located on the back lower side of the inseam. Is that too picky?

Shorts are true to size. I wear 32 and the waist sits completely around my underwear line. No belt needed. I like the mild corduroy look that give the shorts some texture. The six pockets are very functional. I played golf in them and found room for tees, a divot tool, score card and my cell phone. All in all, a very versatile and durable pair of shorts!

I wear size 32 and they fit true to size with the waist sitting about a half inch below my underwear line. They're maneuverable enough for playing golf or tennis and they have just the right look for hangin' out at your favorite bar on hot summer nights. But then again, I live in San Diego, so that's pretty much any night here!
