Perfect Hiking Shoe

I didn't want to buy big bulky boots to hike in, so I decided to give these a try. I have used them a few times and I love them. I did a 20-mile hike in the High Uintas last week over some pretty nasty terrain and these kept my feet comfortable. The other 4 guys I was with each needed moleskin but not me. These shoes are a little tight getting in and out of, but they are very secure once they are on. I am going to pick up a shoe horn soon. I am very happy with these shoes. |

My Favorite Sandal

This is my third pair of Fannings. Obviously I am a fan. I wear them around the house starting the moment I wake-up. They help me aviod planter fasciitis. |

Best Maps Ever

I now have 3 of these 'Trails Illustrated' maps and I love all of them. The durability (waterproof and tear proof) is unprecedented. No regrets here. |
