Use it every day while exercising the dog at zero dark hours. Love it. I have 2 older style headlamps, one Petzl and one Princeton. Neither one lasts nearly as long on a set of batteries. The Zipka Plus has a limited range compared to the older Petzl micro, but the white light and battery life of the Zipka Plus is what impressed me most, plus the different power setting is a bonus. The only change I'd suggest is to make it a little tighter for weather resistance or have a rubber seal.

Having been a North Face fan since 1974, I was immediately disappointed when the zipper wouldn't slide smoothly. Then, within the 1st week the plastic buckle for the waist strap broke. I've returned it to North Face for warranty repairs. We'll see.

Very nice jacket and waterproof so far. It's much lighter than my other waterproof jackets and is usually the first jacket I grab walking out the door. I was a fan of North Face back in the 70's when I did a lot of backpacking. I considered the Marmot Oracle but couldn't pass up the good deal on the Venture. I continue to be totally impressed with North Face.
