Why the heck would I pay $60 for something when they sell them for half that. From what I've understood chainlove and the like were meant to get rid of remaining products they couldn't sell during the regular season. So what's the deal, seriously, what's the point of buying these shorts or other products from here when they offer better deals with all the one deal at a time teaser sites... Is it totally wrong of me to believe that backcountry doesn't do this to gain new customer by luring people in w/ a bait and switch tactic. Seriously people your gonna give me a thumbs down for my previous comments.

I've had this watch for 4 years and love it but I've only worn it for maybe 2 of the 4yrs. Nixon watches are awesome but the band on this watch is pretty terrible. The band on this watch broke and I sent it in to Nixon.l They have great service and didn't even charge me for the new band but within another few months it broke again. I don't have the patience to send it back again, it's frustrating to have to keep replacing the same thing on this watch.

I have the orange pack and I definitely hated riding during the summer w/ my old pack and having a soaked back in a matter of minutes, the D.V.I.S. doesn't totally solve the problem but it helps a great deal, I could actually feel air moving on my back instead of just sweat. It also holds mega amounts of water. I ride the Mah Dah Hey yearly and it's always a struggle to bring enough water but this pack totally covers that problem, you can throw an extra 3L hydration pack in the other pocket when you need it.

I've had these for a while now and I still think they're kinda tight on my small head but the lens are better than I originally thought, though they are light it's bearable and actually alright when I'm mt. biking through the trees. Plus they look cool, which is what it's about, right??

I just got these and I'm a bit disappointed at the light color of the lenses, I was hoping for something a bit darker when I ordered a brown gradient, it should be called a light brown to clear gradient. They also tend to be narrow but other than that they seem really cool. I'll check back after using them in the sun a bit.

these are about the warmest pants I've ever owned, sick liners...although they can get the little fuzz balls if you wash/dry them. gotta get em w/ Smarty jacket to attach w/, although I heard they can attach to some other brands too. really sick pants worth every penny!!!

don't take the black insulation tube cover off... you'll never get it back on it's frustrating as heck. It seems as though CamelBak has changed the fabric it uses for the tube covers.. it sucks.

If there were another view of these glasses on here from the front I wouldn't have bought them. They are a lot more square shaped then pictures would lead you to believe. that's really my only complaint. They work well, stay on well and block the sun alright. Better for someone w/ a small face, for sure.

just got the medium size after exchanging the large and it fits, still a little big, but layering will take care of that. I also got some 686 pants to go with the jacket and they are totally rad. I can't wait to get out in the cold and use them.

I just got this jacket in a LG Rosewood color. I'm 6' tall and I'm not real skinny and this jacket is huge on me. I haven't had a medium size snowboard jacket in years...hopefully it will fit. Other than that it seems like a great jacket w/ a lot of intuitive design details.

My wife and I bike a lot and she wanted to be able to hold more water then her other camelbak could. This isn't the hugest but she didn't want a huge pack, so for her it's perfect.

A better chamois than Fox brand shorts for sure, a little short on the inseam and small waist. I have XL's and these are the only brand I have to go that big in size. Another downfall is the front pockets are 3 inches deep, maybe. Overall I'm happy w/ them the side pockets are pretty huge and the Chamois makes up for everything else.

Q: Why do you buy a compression sack? A: So it compresses everything to fit in a smaller space. PROBLEM: The compression straps are only half the length of the bag so when you try to compress it basically your just filling the non-compression half of the sack with gear that should be compressed. A major design flaw, no wonder it was on Steep and Cheap, but it's going back.

every time I've seen these shorts up on chainlove.com they have one pair available in each size, yet when you look on backcountry they have well over 300 pairs available. That would be the old bait and switch tactic. Up until now I've been very happy w/ this company but this move really ticks me off.
