I just lost these glasses and it was like losing my first born son. Well, that's the understatement of the year. It's taken me nearly 3 weeks to recover. But Providence is good to me and the God's at Backcountry don't ignore the prays of their loyal followers. They put the Smith Stance Glasses on Steep and Cheep just for me and I literally sold my house and bought 3 pairs (small house). Bottom line: these glasses make you do some crazy things...they are just that good.

When I wear this jacket in minus 10 degree and 30mph winds, it reminds me of when I build a bomber anchor and am pretty content with life because I know I'm safe. When layered properly, this is the perfect outer piece to keep you dry, warm and feeling BOMBER!

I'm normally not much of a map person but I went on a road trip in California when a friend had one of these and it made the whole trip SO much easier. The internet is nice at home but when you are on the road and need detailed info, these maps are the ones to get. They show EVERYTHING. Highly rec'd.

I got a pair of Red Chili's and decided they weren't aggresive enough so I got this. Best decision ever. Saw a huge jump in what I could climb. Those small crystals become huge foot holds with these things on. Pretty comfortable although 6 pitches of slow trad and then a solid mile of 4th class down climbing is a bit much on them.

These cams are very solid. The trigger action is very smooth and easy to handle. The expansion range is wicked good. I find myself saving this for a just in case piece and then often use it for the anchor.

I like it. I honestly haven't used it much because my dog is still pretty little and it weights quite a bit compared to her but I imagine once she gets bigger, it'll be easier to carry. The straps are a bit tricky to figure out but maybe I'm just silly. I'd recommend it. At the price, it's pretty nifty.
