They have a velours feel to them, fringed on the bottom but not at all tacky looking. Easy care. Feel light and don't cling. Just a pair anyone should have in their closet.

Went up 14,000ft on a cloudy day. The jacket kept me warm and the few raindrops just dripped down, unable to hold on. Fits very good and comes low enough you don't have a draft running up your spine. Lots of storage pockets and easy to use zippers.
