Over a hundred dollars for what? This jacket lacks a lot - mostly function. Not windproof, bulky, whats the nylon on the shoulders for? Get one if you want to look trendy and you have cash to blow (but then again everyone has one so you might just look lame). Am I the only person who thinks you should get a better and more functional piece for this price?

Too expensive and lacking function for the high price tag. Honestly, only get one if you want to look trendy. This jacket is bulky, not windproof, and everyone has one. NorthFace should and can do better then this.

An awesome lightweight piece. Don't expect it to keep you dry, but it'll supplement your layering system nicely. I always have mine in the lid of my pack as an extra layer just in case. It's light enough that I don't even notice the extra weight.

Technical vests are under appreciated. This is nice and lightweight, definitely blocks the wind, nice pockets and cinches. Not bulky at all and a nice high collar keep your neck warm. Overall a great piece.

A great piece for COLD weather. Used this jacket for ice climbing in CO and got overheated. I think this piece would do better on the east coast where the winters are frigid. Cut is a little roomy for a technical jacket but at least you can fit another layer under it when the mercury drops. Nice and breathable.

Super functional. Warm, lightweight, packable, durable, easy to wash, AWESOME warranty. Yet another awesome piece from patagonia.
