Cute and versatile

LOVE this jacket! Buy it, in Northern California, you'll wear it year round. Great lighter weight alternative to the Denali and it's more flattering than the Pumori (which can look dumpy on the hips if you have any curves). Alba green in this product is less gray, more spring/leaf green than the same color in the Momentum Jacket. |

Cute but not comfy
03-16-09 ![]() |
Cute shape but the metal snaps! On the sleeve tabs, cuffs, and down the front! The snaps lie right on the skin, with no fabric to take the edge off. Uncomfortably cold on the skin until they get uncomfortably hot in the sun. This one is a miss. |

Sheds
04-12-09 ![]() |
Perfectly adequate function and nice fit -- I like that the length is shorter than some other fleece vests on the market (esp. TNF), and it's mostly the same length front and back. Has a nice shape to the body and shows some curves. But the natural color fleece sheds and left fuzz all over everything it touched. |

Metal snaps!

Cute shirt, flattering cut, but has metal snaps on sleeves, tabs, and front that lie right on the skin, nothing between the metal and you. Very cold until they get too hot. This one is a miss. |

Clean lines
04-06-09 ![]() |
Gotta love the clean lines that help these go effortlessly from trail to town. No stretch at all -- a heavier cotton canvas than TNF Libra Cargo, the Precita holds their shape well, and no need to size down; they won't grow on you after a few hours wear. I have them in every color, regular length for flats and boots and long length to wear with heels (they are that flattering). TNF casual wear sizing isn't always consistent -- Precita 8, fits like Libra Cargo in 6, and Parker Patch Cord in 4. I'm 5'6" and a standard size 6 in most street wear labels. |

Travel must have
03-31-09 ![]() |
I got these in Brownie from another vendor and would buy every color if I could find them in my size. Similar characteristics but lighter weight, smoother and stretchier fabric than Horizon, Recife, Paramount make these useful for trails but easy to dress up for museums and dinners out and exceptionally comfy on planes and trains. Pack like nothing at all, wash and dry in a flash, get them muddy on the Cinque Terra trails then rinse out for a romantic seaside dinner. Small side pockets, no back pockets. Flattering cut and clean lines, slimmer in the leg than most other TNF pants without being tight in the thigh. Fit true to size, 32 inseam in regular. |

Go-to pants
03-30-09 ![]() |
I have these in every color, in 6 and 8 (both fit with more or less slouch). Soft, slimming (even when loose), flattering to the posterior, nice drape to the leg when worn with trainers or boots or flats. Pockets are pretty useless except to tuck your hands in nonchalantly, but doesn't bother me. I wear them year round in Northern California, and in South Africa's winter every year (immersion trips). They travel easily and are softer and less wrinkel prone with age. When the winter wind blows, layer with Cap 3 pants. |

Wide waist, stiff fabric
03-23-09 ![]() |
Dark chocolate color is really olive brown. A stiff, very stretchy "cord" (ribbed twill) that will hold everything in. Moderately wide boot cut leg that widens from above just the knee. More flattering than the Emilie for curvy shapes, but not soft or comfortable. Like every Lole style I've tried, the waist is cut very wide for the rise, and this fabric is not easy to alter. |

Heavy duty stretch
03-23-09 ![]() |
Nothing light about these "cords" but they sure are stretchy. The super stiff fabric will hold everything in, but feels like too -- except where they are cut too square. Very slim leg, almost a cigarette style. But they have a surprisingly boxy cut in the waist (straight and wide) and hips - the square look is less than flattering Chocolate brown is really greenish-love color. |

Almost great

This is a terrific jacket in many ways -- color is as depicted, lovely shape to the body (makes you look narrow unlike the Denali), perfect sleeve and body length. But the chest pocket doesn't curve with the body and on A-cup me, sticks out to the side uncomfortably -- not an issue on the roomier Denali. I'll stick with my Denali and Khumbu. |

Light weight cotton
03-16-09 ![]() |
Cut very slim in the leg, I found these to these run a bit on the narrow side from thigh to calf (not in the waist, hip, seat though). Extremely light weight cotton, cool and soft and comfy, very stretchy, but not really functional. Might as well wear shorts or if you need to cover your legs, a nylon blend like the TNF Trekker Ascent or Recife Paulista. |
