I ordered the Kayland Apex Trek boots from BackCountry and they arrived promptly and were in excellent condition, as expected. After a few days of wearing them around the house, however, I realized they were too small so I returned them for the next bigger size, and those fit fabulously. I went hiking up and down a muddy, rough half mile long 45 to 60 degree incline and had no problems whatsoever. BackCountry handled my order very expeditiously. Great service- and on the return, their on-line RMA and preprinted mail label service made everything a breeze. The boots will last me quite a long time since they are quite sturdy, but I'll check out Backcountry when I'm looking for my next pair!
