DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's    Read other reviews of this product

Best Glove Ever. Period.   02-16-09

Easily the best golve that I have ever owned. My biggest problem with golves in the past has been poor construction so they're falling apart by the end of the season. Not a problem with these. Made out of the strongest materials, these gloves fit well, easily go under your jacket's writs closure, and are warm enough for cold Colorado days. The waterproofing is top notch and the gloves just have a beefy feel that makes it clear they're super high quality.

High Society FR Twin-Tip Ski    Read other reviews of this product

79's are dope   02-16-09

Basically these skis are unbeatable for the quality, price, and the ride. I heard about HS two years ago from a buddy and finally stepped up to a pair last season. I ski the whole mountain and these skis are perfect for those all-around days. They're sick in the park, but also good in the trees and bumps. If you need one ski to handle all conditions, then I would highly recommend the FR's. Also, I don't have the 87's but my bro does and he says they kill it on big pow days. Saving up for those right now . . .

Santa Cruz Bicycles Blur XC Carbon Bike - SPX XC Build Kit    This product is no longer available

As smooth as it gets   02-13-09

Okay, so I don't have the SPX XC build kit and I didn't buy my bike from backcountry.com, but I did buy a Blur XC last year (with the XT build kit) and it is easily the dopest thing I've ever ridden. You've probably heard this before but the VPP is really the best suspension technology out there. It never feels bouncy and seems to alway soak up the bumps, but not my pedal energy, just when I need it. It's lightwight and perfect for my riding style. I'm 5'11", 150 lbs and I never feel it has an insufficient amount of travel, even when I'm bombing a downhill. Definitely worth the weight savings over the LT in my opinion. If I were you I would go to your local shop, and test ride a Blur before buying any other XC rig. Even though it's far from cheap, it still probably the best ride out there for the money.
