Older models of the DriClime Vest had a fabric panel across the entire back, allowing for high breathability, especially when running or schlepping a load. This feature, plus the wind shedding front, made this an absolutely versatile piece of weather gear that went with me everywhere. For some unknown reason, the back panel is now nylon and simply does NOT perform anywhere close to the older models. I'm leaving it at home. Big mistake Marmot.
