The buckles at the heel slipped and allowed the heel to loosen soon after I transitioned from a walk into a run. I was surprised, after previous good experience with Salamon ski and AR footwear. I tried the Pro Amphibs too, and they are worse, believe it or not: in addition to the heel loosening problem, the attachment points for the plastic lacing system bite into the top of the forefoot even with socks on. |
