The full happiness package

I've ended my search for the perfect ski jacket. It covers all the bases: water proof, helmet-capatible hood, snow skirt, and ski pass pocket. Plus off-the-hook style with unique details that make it stand out on and off the slopes. Love the groovy wavy pattern in the fabric, patch pocket, and flattering cut. All this and comfortable too. Zoe my cat agrees -- she's just discovered it and has curled up on top of it. The fabric is super soft, just the right amount of insulation, with plenty of room to move (but not too baggy or bulky). It runs true to size. I normally wear a size 8 (5'3", 130 lbs, 35" chest, 29" waist, 39" hips) and am between a small and medium in most jackets. The Burton size chart seems to run small based on the measurements, but the medium fit me fine. I may have even been able to go with a small, but I wanted to leave room for layers. The sleeves are a bit long for me but they roll up nicely. I'm so happy with this I decided to splurge on the Burton AK Statis 3L pant, which zip into this jacket. |

The holy grail

I've ended my search for underwear that doesn't cause panty lines or hike up. These rock! They come in beautiful colors, keep my tush warm in winter, and breathe when the temperature heats up. Never knew wool could feel so good. I bought these for skiing but they're also great for everyday wear. Bummed that my size sold out before I could order more. The ultralite version are also awesome. Both run true to size. By the way, I tried Icebreaker's Bodyfit boy shorts and think the Nature line fits and looks better. The Bodyfit are not as feminine looking and the waistbands are tighter. |

Super cute

I ordered a small based on the other reviews and they fit great. I'm normally a size 8 (29" waist, 39" hips). Love the style and comfort. The fabric is ultra soft and lightweight (feels like the windbreaker material in the days before "technical fabrics"). The sheet metal gray looks great with most shades of blue and enhances the military look. My only complaint is the noticeable "V" that forms below the zipper. I searched the Internet for a photo of these pants on a model to see if the problem is unique to me. The photo I found has the model standing in a pose that tries to minimize it, but you can tell that the pants are inclined to do this. If it weren't for the V, I would have rated the pants a 5. |

Runs big (size chart misleading)
05-22-09 ![]() |
In general, I love the fabric, construction, and cut of these pants. But they're oversized. I typically wear a size 8 or medium (30" waist, 39" hips). According to the size chart, I should have ordered a Large. I ordered the Mediums based on the description of Burton's SigFit and the photo, and the pants were still too big for me. I'm returning them for Smalls. I still gave them a 5, because once I get the right size I'll be very happy with these. |

A lotta love

The covert scarf is softer than your baby blanket and comes in gorgeous heather colors for grownups. The nifty pocket with Arc'Teryx logo is a nice touch. A great gift for men and women, particularly those who can't tolerate wool. Nab a covert sweater for even more love. |

The Holy Grail

I've ended my search for underwear that doesn't cause panty lines or hike up. These rock! They come in beautiful colors and feel great in all temperatures (warm in winter, cool in summer). Once you try them you'll want to wear these every day. The slightly heavier Nature Lite version are also awesome. Both run true to size. By the way, I tried Icebreaker's Bodyfit boy shorts and think the Nature line fits and looks better. The Bodyfit are not as feminine looking and the waistbands are tighter. |

Great weight for layering

I bought a seasons ski pass and wear these every day on the mountain. They're my favorite tights. Excellent weight for most conditions in the Northwest. I tend to fall between a small and medium and went with the larger size. Next time, I'll buy the smalls. |

Extremely warm

I'm a huge fan of Icebreaker clothing. These leggings are very warm and best suited for only the coldest conditions. The Skin200 leggings are a lighter, more versatile weight. |

Ultimate lounge pants

These pants fit perfectly. I'm 5'2" 130 lbs and purchased the medium. They're great for curvey hips and thighs. I wear them several times a week. Super warm and comfortable, with a flattering cut. |

Excellent ski pants

These pants are perfect for skiing. Layer them with tights for cold days and wear them without for Spring skiing. Waterproof, durable, and comfortable roomy fit. Also stylish and flattering for women with curves. |
