I was looking for a fleece jacket for some time and have tried some of the other manufacturers out there. This is a good lightweight jacket with wind protection as the title indicates. This along with a Gore-Tex shell make an excellent layered combination when outdoors, from the backcountry to the suburbs at a football game. I have worn this by itself in a windy mid-40's kinda day, and found to be comfortable for moderate durations. Not as heavy as I expected but does a great job in my wardrobe.
