I wore this jacket for the past week in Steamboat. The Temps ranged from the single digits to the low 30's and I was NEVER cold in it. I am 5'10" ,180lbs with a 42" chest. The Medium fit great if a bit snug under the arms. I wore it over just a heavy thermal and bibs and was warmer than I needed to be most of the time. This jacket shrugged off everything I threw at it, including snowballing myself more than once on a PowderCat day. It kept me dry and warm through all of it. Downsides to this jacket are minimal. There is no 'real' media pocket and none of the interior pockets are waterproof. It also lacks snowshields in the pit vents. The upsides far outweigh the down sides and I would call it a good buy |

I just wore these bibs for six days running in Steamboat. Temps went from single digits to the low 30's. I wore them with only heavy weight thermals underneath and NEVER got cold. The best thing I can say about any piece of equipment is that it was invisible and these fit that bill perfectly. They never bound or hindered movement. I am 5'10" and about 180 lbs and the mediums fit perfectly. Only downside is the thigh vents don't have snow mesh in them. All things considered a small setback for a great set of bibs. |
