comfortable and stylish

This jacket is very comfortable without sacrificing its athletic fit. Pretty warm too. Being 5'11 and 160lbs, I bought the small size to retain the athletic look. I use this jacket as a mid-layer on a very cold day or an outer layer when the temperature goes above 40 degrees. The only thing I don't like about this jacket is the amount of static electricity that the material generates each time I take it off. This is my first jacket that is made from herringbone so I don't really know if this is a common trait for this material. |

Warm and stylish

I got this fleece on sale for only 40. This jacket is warmer than my aging polyester 200 weight fleece. It has a polyester inner lining which makes it very comfortable to wear. It's not wind resistance so you have to use an outer shell on a cold and windy day. Very well made. I'd recommend this jacket if you can find it on sale. |

Exactly what I expected

I bought this softshell with an expectation of being able to use it for outdoor activities. I'm not disappointed at all. It's a little bit pricey, but hey...it's arc'teryx. This jacket is made in China, however, it retains the high quality that arc'teryx maintains. |

The only jacket I carry with me everywhere

This is pretty much the only jacket that I carry everywhere. As a traveling consultant, I fly on average about 700 times a year to various cities in the United States. The windshirt is very light and compressible. I carry this jacket, along with the patagonia micropuff vest, in my laptop backpack all the time. On my recent trip to Hawaii, it got really windy and I was really glad I had the windshirt with me. When I arrived home in Chicago, it was was about 20 farenheit. By combining the micropuff as a midlayer and the windshirt as an outer layer, I had no problem handling that temperature. Great versatile jacket. Highly recommended! |

Very light and compress-able

This is one of the gears that I always carry in my travel backpack. The other one is the Marmot driclime windshirt. Very light, yet warm. Perfect as it is in a warmer weather (50 - 70). Works great as a mid-layer in a very cold weather. |
