This is a stout folder. The assisted opening works great and when open it locks up solid. It's a bit heavy, but it's strength makes up for the added weight. The AUS-8 blade came with a nice edge already on it. The pocket clip works well. I haven't put it up to any heavy use yet, but I'm sure it can handle anything you'd think to use a folding knife for. For around town use, it might be a bit heavy in the pocket, but I'm not going into the great outdoors without it.

I have been using this head lamp for a couple of years. I bought it in a hurry and I guess didn't read the packaging well enough. I just saw today that it is for kids. Its been plenty bright for me and the battery life is great.

This jacket has kept me nice and warm into the low teens. It repelled wind and snow as well. It's lightweight and compresses well too. It doesn't breathe well enough to hike with, but that's the nature of a down jacket. I've tried hiking in it a couple of times and just wound up too sweaty at the end of the day.
