The North Face WindStopper Ear Gear     Read other reviews of this product

sweet!   12-10-08

i went out running at night while i was waiting for my "ear gear" to arrive. december in michigan is pretty bitter. i wore a hat, but the hat kept tugging my earphones out of my ears. however, this was nothing compared to the piercing pain i felt in my inner ear when i got home from the run. this product is awesome. roomy, comfortable with earphones, and NO wind is getting through. a must have for outdoor, winter activities.

new under armour fan   12-30-08

i never tried UA products before buying this shirt. it basically changed my life. there is nothing like going from running in layers of cotton shirts in the winter (which end up getting wet and cold) to the UA subzero. keeps me completely warm and dry. can't run without it. i want to get the pink one now...

CW-X Insulator Expert Tight - Women's    Read other reviews of this product

Love CW-X   12-30-08

yes, they are a bit on the expensive side, but the investment is well worth it. they keep you warm, wick moisture, and support your muscles. that = ultimate running tight. plus, the pink piping is adorable. backcountry was the only place i could find that color!

Coal Liz Glove - Women's    Read other reviews of this product

yikes - these are bad!!!   12-10-08

i would advise you not to buy these gloves since they are worthless. although the color and style are adorable, they are very poorly made. i thought a fingerless glove would be great for outdoor running - keep my hands warm and make it easier to access the iphone i use for music/gps. unfortunately, the knitting at the edges of the fingers immediately started to unravel - and not just a little, a lot. there are only about three fingers left now, so the gloves really function as more of a palm warmer now, not a glove. hopefully i can exchange them for something that actually lasts more than 15 minutes.
