Oasis - BOMB purchase

I got this baby on steep...which was an excellent call on my part. Although online the color looks radioactive and weird in real life Oasis is a robin's egg blue, very pretty. Has good pockets and is impermeable to the elements, fits well, great jacket! Don't be afraid of the weird photography of the colors! |

SWEET

Just got this today. Ordered in Kashmir, it's like orange, but on FIRE. It has a really flattering cut--narrow waist, plus the black side panels look goooood on, make you look really slender. Anyway. It is also pleasantly warm--I plan to wear it under a shell skiing and to take it backpacking for my warm layer. Has nice long sleeves (I'm 5'10", this can be hard to find) and is just all around comfortable. Also, I'm 145 lbs but pear-shaped and ordered a M, correct size for me. I spilled a bunch of water on it earlier washing dishes and it dried hella fast, also. The sleeves are a little tight but not problematically so, mostly because they're quite long. Woohoo Kitz! |

On second thought

If you have non-stub arms, this jacket will be annoying. I thought it would be fine, but after wearing it around a bit, the sleeves rode up practically to my elbows because the elastic was so tight, plus the shoulders fit pretty weird and didn't allow for that much movement. Reeeetuuuurrrrn |

Notion - sweet, but semi-satisfactory sleeves

Pretty sweet--bought this to be a warm layer for backpacking evenings and also under a ski shell. It's just the weight I was expecting, my only complaint is that the wrist elastic is kind of tight, and the sleeves aren't quite as long as I'd like. They aren't bad really, and I am quite tall and long-limbed so it's to be expected from time to time. Otherwise it is sweet, the lava color is fun, like fire-engine red. |

Shoeboots!

I do agree with bakerdog--they're kind of difficult to get on and off. Otherwise though, great shoes! They offer the ankle support I need but are still light and comfy--I am not a fan of huge heavy boots but trail runners are little insufficient so these were a good compromise. Have only taken them on a few dayhikes and around town but my feet have stayed happy so far! |

HOTTTTTTTTT

This coat is awesome. Best purchase ever...kept me warm (totally, totally comfortable, wish I'd had the equivalent in pants) snowcamping at < 10 *F. Super comfy, love the hood (if you velcro it practically your whole face is protected, plus if you tighten up the hood it fits your head as opposed to a helmet) and so SO SO warm. The color is nice and also the sleeves are long enough for my arms which sometimes is a problem for me! Obviously it's a super intense puffy so it's not the most flattering but I don't generally feel like the Stay Puft man either. The pockets are nice and deep and plentiful. Woo! |

Great fit! 5'10", 150 lbs, got a medium and it is perfect, nice long sleeves and torso length! No bare midriffs which happens to me a lot. I'd say it's warmer than it's polyester counterparts but it does shed my stank much better, and is very comfortable/soft. Plus the wasabi color is sweet. |
