Useful

It does require frequent calibration, but if you don't understand why, look it up. There is a feature that "locks" the altitude, according to the manual, if the local barometric pressure remains still for 30 minutes, useful for overnight. i usually found it didn't usually require calibration the next morning, unless there was a severe local barometric change overnight. hiking over the summer, you could see the graphical representation of your trip's altitude vs. time. there is a function to time your rate of descent while skiing which is fun to use. the thermometer always reads about 28-30 degrees when on the wrist and is affected by sunlight as well. |

Good for a fall day

good to keep your hands warm on that cool fall day where it's cool enough to want to wear gloves, but not cool enough to dig out the heavier gloves. Do not get these gloves wet though. they will take forever to dry. |

alright, bad goggle compatiblility

i got this helmet originally at a ski shop because it was an XL, and i have an XL sized head. I need to special order my lacrosse helmets too. anyways, it is really warm, but unless you are wearing a balaclava, the wind has a nasty habit of slipping in between my anons and the helmet. i combated the problem with rolling a piece of duct tape and putting it between the goggle and the helmet. its lasted for about 2 seasons now. other than that i love it. apparently giro goggles fix this problem so no need for the balaclava or duct tape |

i wear glasses so finding a goggle is sometimes a problem, but when i wear a helmet, these glasses fit over them with no problem |

Solid

i have the one with the v cutter and without the scissors. any job with little trouble. the v cutter is useful for opening packages or any other application where it would cut, a good second option to the knife. a little on the heavy side, but wouldn't leave home without it. |
