Nice, but Short
01-19-05 ![]() |
I like this coat--it is a standard, warm, poofy coat. I do think these style of coats are too short. If it is cold enough to need a down-filled coat, I think it is cold enough to want one that will cover your tummy, even when reaching to the sky. If I would keep this coat, I would want it several sizes too large, so that it covers my hips/rear a bit better. |

Uncomfortable, but Awesome
02-16-05 ![]() |
These shoes took a while to break in--and even when I did break them in, they were still fairly uncomfortable. But, on the upside, they have performed very well. They edge wonderfully; they have a still sole which holds its shape in a crack; the heels hold really well on odd bouldering heel hooks, the rubber sticks well on wherever I paste them. Even after I blew out the toe, these were still my choice for routes at my skill limit. I am more than willing to suck it & deal with the pain for the performance. My first pair delaminated 2 months after wearing them--I sent them to the manuf. & they promptly sent me a new pair, which has been great. |

Not fit for climbing
04-19-04 ![]() |
I bought these, in hopes they would make good summer climbing shorts. Instead, they were fit for watersports, much more than for bouldering/climbing. |

Nice Jacket, but not quite right
01-19-05 ![]() |
I bought this coat & the Mtn Hardwear one & I returned this one. I thought it was too 'thick' for a coat to pack. Meaning it packed significantly larger than the Mtn Hardwear one. Also, it didn't have any inside pockets for waterbottles & climbing shoes. Finally, it kind of cut in the sides, to make it more girlie...which is great for the way it looked...but it didn't fit as comfortably for the purpose of layering, etc. |

Not 'Stretchy'
11-17-04 ![]() |
These shorts were advertised with 'stretchy' side panels. I ordered them, with hopes of doing active stuff like rock climbing in them. When I received them, they did not have the stretchy side panels. They are pretty cute and would love them, if I needed board shorts for wake-boarding... but not for sports where I need the stretch. |

Worth it!
01-19-05 ![]() |
Love this coat--I wore it on a bouldering trip & then around town in the super-cold & I was wonderfully toasty. I had purchased this coat & the Marmot hooded poofy coat. This one packed much smaller and weighed signif. less. On the other hand, it has a 'thinner' material than the Marmot one. I liked the pockets inside of it (which the Marmot one lacked). It is super-poofy, with my coworkers calling me a space-chick, but at least I'm a warm space-chick. |

Comfy
04-19-04 ![]() |
This top is incredibly comfortable. It's easy to move in it & the elastic does not pinch. It provides moderate support--great, for a shelf bra top. Granted, it does nothing to make me look more veluptuous--but, it's a sport top. |

Cute, but not sure about running
04-28-05 ![]() |
They are incredibly cute shoes but, I question the design. First of all--the ankles in these are 'big'--meaning the shoes are 'loose' and I barely need to tie them to slide my feet in/out. If I were running on uneven terrain, I would not like this (I like a little more ankle support). I have not been able to tie them in any way that would make them more supportive. Second, the tongue is a continuing tongue to keep 'stuff' out of the shoe--but it tends to fold on top of itself and dig into my feet--making me want to tie them even more loosely. All in all, I think these will end up being my 'cute with blue-jeans' shoes for winter and rainy days. |

Sweet top!
11-05-04 ![]() |
This top is stylin'! I got the black one & can't figure out whether to wear it out dancing or to wear it rock climbing... I'm tempted to buy multiples...It's a tight top--fitting & almost looking like a rash guard. |

cute but not high-activity shirt
04-28-05 ![]() |
This shirt is really cute, but I don't know how much I'll wear it climbing. The first time I climbed in it, I found myself constantly sticking to the wall. After washing it, there are already some little fuzzies on the boobs, from when I touched the wall. Finally, due to the long neck, it doesn't provide much support and I have resorted to safety-pinning some excess length in. |

Almost Awesome
05-30-08 ![]() |
These pants really do perform (love the stretch when climbing) & look great on my motorcycle or out on the town. I have a very boy-ish shape, and they are fairly low rise pants (2-3 inches below belly button), so I need a belt to keep them up when I am climbing. I also had to stitch down the pocket flaps b/c they flip up after putting them in the wash/dry. I typically wear XS in prana & so I bought the size 00 (a little tight when I first tried on) & 02 (a little loose). I kept the 00 and was happy. They didn't shrink when I put them in the dryer. And, they stretch out after the first 2 hours of wearing & are perfect the 2nd & 3rd times I wear them (they keep good shape, but just stretch out a bit). |

My Favorite Climbing Top
08-11-06 ![]() |
I have a black one of these and LOVE it. I've worn this top for 3-day weekends of climbing & hiking. I'm a 34B & have the size small. It doesn't stretch out or leave me sagging -- it holds its shape well. I get quite a few compliments when I am wearing it. I have had it for at least a year or two & have washed it many times (and thrown it in the dryer). Yes, it is beginning show wear, but the fit is still excellent. The boobs do not snag as I climb (thanks to outer tank being made of cotton) & has outlasted many of my poly tanks. |

Simply Great
12-12-05 ![]() |
I love this hoody—I get compliments every time I wear it (and I just have the black one). The cut must be a nice one, because it seems to hide my squished boobs when wearing a tight sports bra underneath. I would not recommend buying down in size—although it didn't shrink, it still fit pretty tightly for the size (unlike the matching Akira pants which hang off of me and have not rec'd any compliments). |

New favorite black workout pants
01-25-05 ![]() |
These pants are wonderful! Love them, love them, love them. The waist-band folds over when I want the low-waist (good for bouldering)...or folds back up to be more covering (good for a climbing harness). I wore them 4-5 days in a row, on a trip & they held their shape. I would caution--I am typically a size sm/x-sm & I definitely needed the x-sm pants...and would have almost preferred x-x-sm. They run a bit large & don't shrink much. They are also plenty long (I am 5'2'' & they drag on the ground when I am barefoot). |

My New Favorite Tank

This top is my new favorite tank top. I've worn it rock climbing many times & it has not snagged on the rocks. It is so comfortable, I would like to buy several of them. |

Good Pants to Have
11-24-04 ![]() |
These are fun, soft pants to have. They make my posterior look pretty good, too. The downfall of these pants is that you sort of squeeze them over your hips, and then tie the waist tight. This cinched waist does not fit super comfortably under a climbing harness....until the pants have been washed quite a bit. That being said, I still wear them every week. |

Awesome, but big
04-19-04 ![]() |
This jacket rocks! It has all the bells and whistles for snow fun. I would highly recommend it. But, beware. I bought size small (I am typically a size 2-4, 5'2") and it was still a bit big for me. |
