It's packable!   02-19-09

It doesn't say in the description but the jacket includes a little stuff sack. It's warm and stylish. Perfect base camp wear!

It's warm!   02-18-09

I was definitely warm in this mummy bag when I was in Joshua Tree. Can't wait to try this out during snow camp. My only gripe is the stuff sack is too small. It felt like a battle to pack it in!

awesome pack!   02-18-09

This pack has everything I need for day hikes. Easy access to my gear. Plus the hidden rain hood for those sudden showers is perfect. This fits my 5'2" frame.

Osprey Packs Aura 65 Backpack - 3800-4200cu in - Women's    Read other reviews of this product

for skinny necks   02-04-09

I got the sapphire 3800cu and was excited by all the features it had to offer until I tried it on. Just trying on an empty backpack, the narrow shoulder straps was already rubbing my neck. It was the first time I've had this problem so this pack is made for skinny necks. It's an excellent pack and I wish I could keep it but having skin irritation is a no-no when hiking.

The North Face Doubletrack 21 Pack - 2750 cu in    Read other reviews of this product

This Doubletrack 21 makes other bags envious!   03-30-09

I love this bag! It's the perfect carry-on wheelie. Of course, you do have to detach the daypack otherwise it won't fit the overhead compartment. The big red wheels and sturdy handles makes running through the airport a breeze. My bag never twisted once even through escalators, switchback lines and bumpy asphalt. This was a problem with every other carry-on I've ever had until now. I packed it for a weekend trip and still had space to spare. Perfect when you buy lots of souvenirs like me during the trip. A great feature that I didn't notice until I was packing was the attached zippered front cover that was tucked away. When the daypack is detached, it reveals two netted pockets on the front and a horizontal zipper on the bottom that holds the second front cover. It's dual zip and gives you an extra storage pocket that great for books or games to keep you occupied when you're traveling! The daypack was just the right size that I didn't have to worry about knocking things over in cramped stores. The four compression straps with clips were very useful. I even used it as a jacket holder! I've tried out the backpack mode but haven't field tested it yet. It has cushy shoulder straps and waist belt. It felt very secure albeit heavy in this mode. It's the best carry-on I've ever used! I can't wait to use it again with my Doubletrack 25 in Australia!

Primus EtaPower EF Stove    Read other reviews of this product

I love this stove!   02-20-09

I was the envy of my friends at camp. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The other reviewers are right about the fast boiling water! With the big pot, I had plenty of hot water to use and share with others. Clean up was easy, wet it and wipe off the Teflon surface. Best stove ever!
