I have read many reviews on how soft, even "cuddly" this product is but not how warm it is. If you are looking for a great performing "thermal" jacket, this is not it. The wind cuts right through it and it really is not that warm comparatively to similarly priced products made from merino, micro fleece, or even 2 base layers of some of the newer thin base layers . I am all about style but a product has to perform and this one just falls short.

This shoe rocks. I bought this shoe on sale thinking why not? Its only $40. I didn't realize that I would like them so much until I went on my first hike. They are very light weight, they have adequate grip on rocks, and one thing they dont mention online is the insoles which are top notch in these shoes and probably some of the best I have seen in any kicks I have had. We recently hiked Old Rag in Virginia, its a 10 mile hike/rock scramble. My feet stayed comfortable the whole day and I never had a problem with traction. I wear these shoes everywhere now around DC and my girlfriend can't stand it. She doesn't like the way they look but they are so comfortable and they perform like a champ. Buy them!
