I've worn this jacket both skiing and just commuting into work, and I have to say it's one of the best jackets I've ever owned. It's super-cute and has tons of pockets to keep all your necessities. It's really warm, though the wind gets through it a bit on the chairlift-- not so on street level. I usually wear a medium, but I ordered a large (all that was left in stock) and it fits great! I've gotten more compliments on this jacket than any other one I've owned, and I am SO glad I bought it! A Backcountry gear expert helped me find it and was wicked helpful throughout the buying process.

I'd never snowshoed before, but I demoed a pair of the Atlas E10 Series snowshoes while I was on vacation in Colorado. The shoes fit pretty well over my boots and were relatively comfortable, though I have nothing to compare them to. I have two complaints, though, but they're not too bad. First, these tend to kick up a lot of snow in the back, leaving your butt and the backs of your legs pretty chilly. Luckily, it was a warm day, but it was pretty annoying. Second, I found that after a while there was a ton of snow stuck between the bottom of my boot and the footbed of the snowshoe. I'm fairly certain I had it on correctly and was strapped in tightly. The extra weight of the snow and the slippery surface of it really made walking difficult.
