Totally SWEET!
11-20-08 ![]() |
I have this jacket in both the blue and the white and it is truly amazing. Lots of pockets for all your knick-nacks, warm, yet perfect for layering, rugged feeling, but still girly enough for even the pickiest chicks. The fabric is totally amazing and it fits very well overall. I would definitely recommend this coat to both skiers and riders alike. The detailing is perfect for staying dry, warming up, or cooling down...depending on what mother nature throws your way any given day. |

Fits Normal Faces, Too.

I have a "normal" face/am not asian, and these fit just fine. Just thought that might be useful information for all you non-asian people out there ;-) I think they actually might be more comfortable than my regular a frames, but honestly it's hard to tell a difference. I have the PINK IRIDIUM...which if you're gonna be out on a sunny day, I do not recommend. They don't provide enough protection and you'll still be squinting. On low light/pow days, they are great, though. |

great jacket :)

This jacket is great. Warm, but not bulky. I got the black...one minor note...the zipper was gray on mine, definitely not black like shown. The fabric is sweet, and the cuffs make it easy to secure them over bulky mittens as there is no restrictive elastic. |

I am typically a size M in all women's snowboarding pants, so I figured the same would be true of these. I ordered the vivid blue in a size M. When they got to my house I was quite sad...they were GARGANTUAN. Not only was the waist extremely big, the legs were like...pontoons or something equally as unflattering. The color is also not as shown...its more of a bit darker, like you might expect if you got the above color sopping wet. That being said, the fabric had a great feel and had they actually fit they might have been cute. I'm still debating if I want to go through the effort of reordering a size S to see if they fit better. Before you buy these, PLEASE check the sizing chart. They really do run big...like big enough to fit your sister in with you too, so you might want to size down. |

Boot Fit Pointers
05-13-09 ![]() |
All snowboard boots will most likely be uncomfortable when you get them if you get the correct size. The materials will pack out, and then the boots will be too big for you if they are comfortable at first, resulting in heel lift and pain. So...its a little pain up front or a lot in the long run and maybe even useless boots. Walk around your apartment some to break them in, shove in tennis balls. Squeeze the boots. Do things that mimic riding motions. But get your normal size! I actually ended up sizing down 1/2 a size once I actually thought about how they were fitting. In heels/tennis shoes I wear an 8.5 and went with these in an 8 (returned my original 8.5's). |

out of box review

Picked these babies up for $34 incase a friend needed to borrow a pair of boots or I needed a back up. I also am generally one that rides pretty STIFF boots and these are extremely SOFT. Walking in them is very comfortable, but it seems like they still provide enough support to be responsive. I definitely wouldn't wear them backcountry snowboarding or kicking through trees, but they will be fun to play around in at the park because they are so soft. I'm curious if I will have issues pairing them with my relatively stiff bindings and if pressure points will result, because strapping in on the floor it felt like there might be some. Either way, if you're just starting out or if you're someone looking for a pair of boots just to have on hand as a back up, what do you really have to lose at $34 bucks a pop? I normally wear a size 8.5 street shoe and got these in an 8. I could have done a 7.5 but am happy with the way the 8's fit. Overall the boot materials and makeup seem relatively good quality, much to my surprise. They ARE kinda ugly, though! |

Love 'em!
05-07-09 ![]() |
These are by far my favorite bindings. They are very light, so they don't add a lot of weight to your board, but are extremely responsive and just the right amount of stiffness in my opinion. I have two pairs of the black and a pair of the teal zebra ones. As others have mentioned, the teal zebra is not as bluish as pictured here and is more jungle green (think: crayola crayon jungle green...fun color but not whats shown!). The air capstrap held up pretty well through a season of aggressive riding. Just now toward the end of the season I am starting to notice a bit of wear on the far edges of the top part of the cap strap, probably from the constant friction when being ridden. Overall, I couldn't be happier than I am with these bindings and will probably pick up some of next year's when they come out, too! One finally note, the bindings are probably slightly stiff for park riding but I manage to make it work. I prefer kickers and jumps to rails and boxes, though. |

Nice Kicks!
05-06-09 ![]() |
These are the boots that I usually ride. I wear an 8.5 shoe and I ordered the 8.5's. They are pretty uncomfortable and stiff at first, to the point of being painful, but once you wear them around for a few days and break them in riding, you'll be glad you didn't size up to something larger that was more comfortable initially because the boots "pack out". Snowboard boots take a lot of abuse so if they fit perfectly at first, it means you'll practically be flying out of them later on! no good! Anyway, I have ridden these boots about 25 days this season and couldn't be more pleased. Supposedly some people have had issues with the laces, but I have not had any. I love them! One final note, if you tighten the boots TOO much they can cause pressure points...pull them snug but not TIGHT...I haven't had any issues at all with heel lift in these boots and I have a very narrow foot and ankle. |

Great Baselayer
04-16-09 ![]() |
I usually wear a size 4-6 in jeans from American Eagle. I ordered these pants in a size small. They are definitely snug, but in my opinion that is how a base layer should fit. They go down to right above the ankle and are designed to go inside your boot when you wear them, so if you don't like that, I would recommend going with the "shant" version of these because those will not go into your boot. The only thing is that I wish they went up a little higher on the waist...as I like to tuck whatever top baselayer I'm wearing into the bottoms. Other than that, no complaints and I would buy them again. |

ORDER YOUR NORMAL SNEAKER SIZE
04-16-09 ![]() |
I can't stress enough that you should go with your NORMAL shoe size...whatever you'd wear for tennis shoes (not heels). They will be snug, uncomfortable, and will probably make you want to cry if you hit up the hill the first day without having worn the boots around your apartment/house to break them in, and will still be very snug the first few days you ride them. HOWEVER, once they "pack out", the boots become like toasty little yummy foot huggers that hold you to your board in the most responsive way possible. You are going to have to suffer through the first few days but if you get a size that is comfortable from the get go, they will also pack out and be HUGE. I have two pairs of these boots and absolutely adore them. I have fairly normal feet but long toes and my toes never feel smooshed. Plenty of toe room once they pack out :) |

Size DOWN!
03-12-09 ![]() |
I caved and ordered these pants in a size SMALL after having ordered a medium before (had to return them cuz they were too big), despite usually being a medium in all boarding pants. The small fit well, although be warned that they say they are baggy/loose fit, and they do mean it. If you size down/go with the sizing chart provided, the pants should fit fine, and they have excellent construction. Definitely recommended! |
