Crap.

This is the most uncomfortable fleece I have ever tried on. I'm 6'3 190 lbs with an athletic build and went with a large off of the sizing chart because I like a slim fit when I'm engaging in outdoor shananigans. I don't know what obscure and proportionally skewed individual they used as a template when they fitted this thing, but the arms are skinny and short, the waist is fat, and when zipped up the collar comes up to your jaw bone. In addition to all of that; it's itchy and the seams are very rough down the sides and arms which causes irritation even with an undershirt on. It could stem from the fact that the product is made of recycled soda bottles, but who knows. Maybe the bottles had herpes or something. Speaking of which, the shirt also has like a funky odor to it. Kindof a bittersweet mix...like if you Lysoled a homeless person with the Clean Linen scent. Very strange. Either way I returned this thing the day it arrived and I suggest you save your coin for something worth while. I'm very disappointed in Helly Hansen on this disaster. |

Incredible Lenses

These goggles are excellent. I have a pair of blue iridium as well as high intensity and couldn't be happier. I board at 11,000 ft in Colorado so I'm always in the clouds and the high intensity pair will occasionally fog but only if it's a real dense foggy day and snowing like a mofo. On typical overcast days you can't beat the H.I. lenses. It is honestly like turning on a lightbulb. When you look at bumps and inconsistencies in the snow one side appears purple and the other yellow so you can really spot out the terrain. I don't know how Oakley does it. The Iridiums are equally sexual when the sun's out scorching your retinas. They block the rays and still maintain a stellar performance of highlighting terrain changes. The goggles themselves are very comfortable, but I'm not wild about the shape. Peripheral vision is excellent but I doubt they are helment compatible, even though they claim to be. I haven't tried them with one because I hate wearing a helmet, but with the wierd plastic do-dads on the strap-to-goggle mount I doubt if they would fit comfortably against a helmet edge. Also, the top side of the goggle frame is more roundish than a goggle conventionally designed to sit flush to a helmet so I doubt if they would seal tightly. All in all, an excellent pair of gog's but if you always ride with a helmet, I'd look elsewhere. |

Not Worth It

I gave them a 2 but only because the print is badass and the zippered fly is a nice touch...but that's where it ends. I ordered the Slate Gray color and with a little bit of water splashed on them, they are COMPLETELY see through. Also, the texture of the material is course and uncomfortable. I'm normally a 32 inch waist and these fit real tight so if you do buy a pair I would recommend sizing up. Overall, unless you like your people laughing at your very visible manhood as you scratch it from discomfort I would seek steeze elsewhere. |

Old School Rockin

I get style points on these boots all the time from people on the lift. Laced up they look like retro ballin' shoes. I snagged them off of SAC for like 65 clams and I don't think theres a better boot for the price. The liners are super cozy and somehow seem to maintain the perfect temp in all conditions. Even broken in they hold solid but are flexible enought to maintain blood circulation. (I lace up tight). There are only two "flaws"... one is the liners don't breathe or wick real well and when I take them off at the end of the day my feet always seem to be a little soggy from the mid-calf down...but when you're in them you don't notice at all. The other is that if you're like me and were blessed with feet the size of Andre the Giant (14)... since the edges on the heel and toe are flat, unlike most "banked" style boot edges, it creates some serious drag. I helped alleviate the problem with a utility knife and a belt sander, but if you can stand on a board without foot overhang then it's not an issue. |

Almost Perfect

These bindings are the real deal. Super comfortable and stellar performance make for a hella day on the mountain. I have size 14 clown feet so the adjustable edges make for that much needed extra space to eliminate toe/heel drag when you cut hard into a deep carve. I seriously get compliments on them every time I ride. Only one probelm...I gave them a rating of 4 because on the second day out one of the screws came loose and fell out on my back foot heel where the highbacks pivot so I had to heel side it down on my stomp pad. Nothing a little Loctite can't fix, but still irritating. Also, I bought the purple color because they look more like a dark blue on the back in the pics but I assure you they are as purple as your nurple. Still a sick ass ride though. There's no going back once you rock a step in. |
