I've found this shoe to be very comfortable in all day casual wear, with good tread grip from the Vibram sole in rainy weather. Breathability is decent as is water repellancy, despite not being designed to be waterproof. It has a roomy toe box and good vertical room from midsole through to the top of the shoe over the arch. Definitely not a shoe to wear no-show ankle socks with, because the back of the shoe comes up high enough to rub with really low socks. I'd highly recommend this shoe for casual wear and light hikes.
