Great Vest

I live in Australia and bought this vest (got the green tweed) hoping that once it got here it would be everything I was expecting. I wasn't disappointed, I'm 5.9" and a size 8(US) and the medium fit perfect, small enough to wear a lightweight shirt under but can also fit heavier sweaters without feeling uncomfortable. What I love the most is that although this is a very warm vest I don't look like the Michelin man and therefore can wear it for walks, to the shops etc... I've had mine for about two months and I haven't seen one feather emerge nor do I think I will. The stitching is solid and the material is hard wearing, you'd really have to try hard to rip or wear this vest out. I really don't think that anyone would be disappointed with the craftsmanship of this vest. The faux fur is great, looks funky but if / when it goes out of fashion you can remove it. . The only negative thing I can think of is; if you're going to be using this for backcountry skiing, boarding, walking, it is quite bulky due to the thick material so doesn't pack down well and is fairly weighty if you were adding it to a overnight pack. Personally I love it. |
