Bought this for my wife, is one of her favorite jackets to wear. To a workout, on the slopes, it is one of her mainstays. Form fitting and actually fits a petite woman (XS) nicely as does the Patagonia R4, which is tapered as well. Flattering and doesn't hang like a sack........

Just great in all respects, fit, looks, comfort and warmth. Is very form fitting and is a handsome jacket as well. One of my mainstays in winter, can typically get away wearing this unless there is a deluge, hands down the best in its class, sets the standard but is pricey! Recommended highly.

I really wasn't quite sure what to expect when I bought this jacket as they "stepped out of the box" in designing a filled jacket in an arena where their hard shells are already legendary. Already own several other Arcteryx products and this one really impressed me. Makes my mid-layer Delta fleece pieces unnecessary as this jacket seems to be warm enough with just a base layer. PrimaLoft eaily beats down fill. Trim fitting with typical attention to detail. True fitted sleeves more street friendly. I agree that an interior pocket would have been nice but exterior pockets are roomy. Otherwise they pulled out all the stops in designing this piece. This is definitely a winner. Show me a better filled jacket!

Already own two other Arcteryx Fleeces, the Delta R and the Delta RS, and the Delta AR is already my favorite…………The other two older fleeces are much more understated in that the Arcteryx logo is obscure on the left breast and I wasn’t sure about this jacket before I bought it but after receiving it is very tastefully done with the logo on the left upper as well as the bird behind the neck. Done just right and not flashy…….Great looking jacket!!! Functions and fits like a charm, this jacket is a winner, no hesitation in buying another. Washes well, no piling what so ever in any of the fleeces I have bought and I wear them twice a week on a rotating basis for workouts as well as more often in the winter. I bought the blue corn, sounds like a dull name for a color but it is a great looking dark navy blue with contrasting upper. One of their best colors by far (I bought the dusk blue in another Arcrteyx fleece and it isn’t anywhere as nice and returned it to backcountry which was as cordial as usual in taking it back with their uncanny customer service) Can’t go wrong here!

Very snug-fitting zip pullover. Literally have to peel it off. Lighter weight a plus, no bulkiness yet no sacrifice in warmth, half zip does allow for some ventilation. Minimalist type of mid layer for those milder days. Great for around town.
