The pack looks great, until you use it. It showed significant wear after I had only worn it for a few days skiing. The buckle-closed tool loops are ingenious, but they broke the first time I tried to use them. This pack was innovative, but definitely needed some fine tuning for the quality.

These boots are a great compromise between touring and downhill performance. With the heat-moldable liners, they fit like a glove. I just got back from day trip that had a 7 mile, 4000 ft. climb, most of which was not on snow (unfortunately). I didn't have any blisters whatsoever and my 1500 ft run was very pleasant in them. But unless you're going to be touring a lot, I'd get another boot. You'll get better downhill performance for much less $$$.
