I loved the purse and the belt, but both fell apart after light use. The belt seems to be thin bits of leather laminated together, and they just fall apart at the buckle. The hemp string on the purse also eroded very quickly. Too bad, cause my husband bought these for me and I loved them both.

I do like this jacket, but the description presented by Backcountry is plain wrong. it is half cotton, says so on the tag, and after being in a light rain, I can believe it.

locking carabiners are pretty much all the same. this one is a true step forward. everyone at the crag wants to borrow it. not only does it prevent crossloading, it saves wear on the belay loop
