I bought a highgear alterra that promptly fell apart. I picked up this axis for a lot less and it is great. It is minus a compass, which is never accurate anyway. Thermometer is always wrong because of body temperature. Altimeter works well. I went a couple of weeks without calibrating it ND then went on a hike and it still was only 2feet off from the summit elevation. For under 50 dollars this watch is worth every penny.
