I have not worn this jacket skiing yet, which is the reason for the purchase. However, it fits well, according to size. The jacket is not too heavy and I like the detachable hood feature as I ski with a helmet. I will report back after skiing with the jacket.

I returned the Spyder zip up sweatshirt as it was too heavy for my needs. I kept the Billabong hooded sweatshirt and already wrote a review.

This sweatshirt is well made, is not bulky at all and fits very well, if you size up one notch. It is not intended to look like a teenager's oversized, baggy look-a-like. It can be worn to dinner or out to the movies or to a sports event and looks good. It has some warmth without the bulk but will not substitute for a jacket on colder nights below 40 degrees.
