Ehhh okay i guess

I bought the 06' Models from another site in summer of 07'. Rode them the first time this year and had a few issues. First the BOA system (cool not having to lace up) didn't stay tight. I had heard this before I purchased them, but was told that DC remedied the issue the second time around (which I thought was the 06' model). I called DC who took 2 days to get back to me, and by that time I already called BOA who sent me two new lace sizes. I have yet to ride them again with the new laces, but hopefully this fixed the issue. Second the liners AREN'T removable, which sucks if your feet sweat (and they will if your human!). This makes it super hard to dry out the liners, and then it gets all gross an stuff inside if you don't put them in the sun or on a boot drier. The third issue I had (which you might not have) was that my lead (left) foot had a lot of pressure/rubbing on the bone just below the ankle. I have how ever broke this ankle twice and it never healed right, so this probably isn't their fault. Otherwise these boots are nice and light, reasonably comfortable and if you can get the BOA system to work right their pretty sweet. Next boots for me are gonna be Northwave's |

Nope too small

I have another quiksilver fedora in L/XL that fits perfect, but the L/XL in this hat is a size or so too small (guessing 7 3/8) ... cool looking hat otherwise |

COMFY BINDING
02-29-08 ![]() |
I ended up renting a pair of these from WaveRave in Mammoth, when my hommies bindings didn't work out. Comfy biding!!! The skyback really makes your heal-side turns a piece of cake! I love the toe-cap feature too, at first I wasn't too sure about it, but after riding them I'm convinced it's the way to go. I picked up the moss/fade to go with my green/kaki jacket and pants. WOO! yeah for Cartels!!! |
