I've received many compliments on these shoes--and they do look great dressed up and dressed down. The shoes are comfy right out of the box, but you may struggle a little to get them on your feet (pretty snug fit, but not pinched) until you get the elastic laces broken in. They're VERY snug if you have orthotics, but the back is high enough so your foot doesn't slip out. The only drawback is that they don't breathe well--at the end of the day, my socks feel damper than even when I wear dress shoes.

These skis just float through powder, as designed. Turning control is great off-piste. On groomers they're okay, but when carrying a lot of speed on hardpack or when on icy runs, there's a little loss of control. Still, a pretty good choice for a one-ski quiver!

These goggles may fit your small/med face, but be warned: they protrude ridiculously far from your head. This may be a fashion statement some people want to make--but I, for one, am NOT out to look like a bug. The bandana design is awesome and comes with a matching bandana in addition to the fabric case, which is cool. The mirror lens would have been perfect for bluebird days...too bad these goggles are so huge!
