THESE SKIS ARE RIDICULOUS.
02-07-08 ![]() |
I'm so thankful I lost my K2 Seth in the backcountry this year. Got Hellbents to fill in for my pow ski. HOLY SMACKERAL. I can rip as fast as possible while dropping 20-30+ footers and then toss 3's and backs so smooth.. I owe it all to these skis. So stable in the pow, I feel like I'm driving a tank that flies. I recommend skiing them big. I have a 180 park ski and a 189 Hellbent. Definately the way to go. **** Definately must have strong legs and know what you're getting into with these skis, otherwise I imagine they can feel heavy and clunky. But... definately my favorite ski ever, and great setup with Look Px 15 jib trouble bindings. |

DON'T BOTHER WITH ANYTHING ELSE!

These are now THE ONLY BINDING I WILL USE. Best hold for the weight.. a little heavy but worth it if you want to keep your skis on your feet.. There's nothing worse than throwing 9 in the park or hucking a 40 footer and having your skis come off when you land on your feet. These bindings won't let that happen. I was definately suspicious.. weary of the new non-rotating heelpiece but it holds and I think I have better control when reverting around from switch.. Overall - 10 ! siiiick binding! |

Great Binding, Solid, NOT Bombproof
01-21-08 ![]() |
I have used the Axial2 Free ti 14 for 3 years without any problems. This rossi binding clips and holds great, really allows me to ski better ...hands down. However, I'm prone to breaking binding brakes and these snapped pretty easily. If you break bindings go with the Free or the PX 15. Otherwise this binding still kills it over all bindings in the market at this price. |

SPINNING AND CARVING SWITCH MACHINES!!
01-21-08 ![]() |
I had a few doubts about this ski originally but they grew on me quick.. I mean FAST. second day. I was laying down perfect turns backwards. SICK. Take it to the park and these skis just float off jumps switch and stomp forward landings. Recommend center mounting the ski as it is asymmetrical. The 181 cm is really 178 so the 172 might be a 169, 170 in reality. There is a metal reinforcement plate underfoot to hold edges better after tons of rails and the best part is the bottom, lime green see through to wood core base. way rad. |

Light Zip Fleece, Looks Good, Great Casual Wear
02-10-08 ![]() |
>> I bought this fleece for casual wear. It's not a fuzzy fleece blanket as the description states.Don't mistake it for good insulation. It's really really soft tho. but pretty lightweight. It's probably my new favorite thing to throw over a t shirt, apres-ski, and wear to work or around town. Can tolerate 30 degree whether for a few minutes of walking after that.. kinda chilly. Theres a big red spyder *spider on the back of the hood in addition to the decal on the front as well as SPYDER written across the lower back. Overall - This jacket wins on style and comfort. |

Saffron is Bright! Color is awesome.

I just got the Saffron - yellow color. I am totally impressed by how bright it is. Great for filming and getting noticed. The jacket itself is a great shell. Could possibly be a bit more waterproof but overall, no complaints. Like the way the pockets zip down and then have a button to keep them closed. Powder skirt rocks. Ride it a size big and you'll ride better. |
