We live in Wisconsin, but we don't usually wear our heavy winter jackets until the temperature gets into the teens. This jacket is perfect for fall and the warmer winter days. My older daughter has had one of these jackets for almost two years. I have had mine for about six months and this one was ordered for my other daughter. We all love our North Face jackets.
