I am sorry to have to review this jacket poorly, but the sizing seems to be way off. My hips measure 42" (over thin clothing), and the large is supposed to fit a 42"-44" hip. Unfortunately, this jacket would not close around me at the bottom. Am so disappointed....it does seem to be great in many ways, but if it doesn't fit, any other perks are moot!

Vasque is a good maker of shoes for my feet, so I expected these to work well for me. I was concerned at first that the shoe might hit one of my ankles in a bad spot, but have worn them now on some long walks, and they are fine, very comfortable, good arch support, etc. Was grateful for the return policy that would have allowed me to return them after wearing them, if necessary. By the way, I wear either 8.0 or 8.5 in hikers, and for these, the 8.0 are perfect for me.
