I love the material of this jacket - way more stretchy and softer than any other brand of softshell I've found. Unfortunately, the cut did not work for me. It has much more of an hour glass shape than it seems to in the photo. So it looked silly on me as I'm kinda tall and skinny. I had to return it.

I love this top - I have the blue and the black. I actually wear it as a sweater over a t shirt a lot. I take the black one with me whenever I travel as it is super light weight and even fits into a purse to take along if I think the evening will get chilly. And it's great as a light weight base layer for skiing etc, too.

These pants are great for really cold days. They're even fairly stylish as far as bibs go - there's a fun blue pattern on the inside that you can't see in the picture, but looks cute if you're wearing them around afterwards with the bib folded down. I hope they last as long as my other North Face ski pants have!

My only complaint with this jacket is that there is no draw cord around the bottom hem to seal out the cold. It's also cut fairly wide there so on cold days, cold air goes right up and it's not that warm at all. Cute jacket for around town though, which I guess is what it's designed for. I also had no idea until just now that it was supposed to be reversible. I think it would look pretty silly wearing it with the fuzzy side out.

I bought one of these about 7 years ago and I wear it all the time. For really cold days skiing I wear it under a water/windproof shell - I'm toasty on the coldest days when everyone else wants to go inside. I wear it around town on its own almost every day in the winter. After 7 years of heavy use a few holes are starting to appear and the down is coming out. So I figure it's time to buy another.
