I just finished a 5-day hiking trip in Glacier National Park, and wore my Sierra Designs "rain" jacket every day. It was great except when it rained. This jacket left me soaked through to the skin in short order. I was beginning to think maybe I had mistakenly bought a water-repellent jacket, but it is indeed sold as "waterproof." A word to the wise -- if you don't enjoy being drenched and cold when it rains, buy another jacket. This one is terrible.
