Light and stiff - watch the binding mounting!   02-03-09

Really LIGHT ski for its sidecut! You'll have to catch the new Dynafit skis to have a pair under 3kg for a 95mm under foot, that's pretty impressive. Good float in the powder and crud. A bit too light on the groomers. I'm 5'10-180lbs-strong and I chose the 181cm to be a really versatile and light ski as I am using them almost exclusively for touring. It's a "short" 181 as the tip is really pointy. For resort use, I would have chosen the 191cm. With Dynafit bindings it is a great light package for touring. However don't rely on Head arrow to mount the bindings, set up your boot centre way behind it. I had to dismount them twice (yes, drilled 3 times... i know that sucks). Why? they have a pointy-low tip and a long tail & they are pretty stiff on the whole length so the tip won't get out of the snow easily: you will have to stay in the back seat in order not to sink in the deep stuff what causes burning thighs -believe me, really rare phenomenon for my tree trunk legs- and not-that-pleasant run when standing behind your skis. That's kind of uncool after a long climb when you're looking forward to the sweet looking downhill part! So, after a long explanation... in short: great great ski for touring because of its dimensions/weight but mount the bindings at least 3 cm behind the suggested position. Enjoy those light/wide performing babies!

Looks great, feels great   11-05-08

I bought that for my wife. She just loves it. Warm, good looking. Super nice. She's 5'8", 130 lbs and the M is perfect.

Feels good, feels tight   11-05-08

The fabric is nice, the cut is super athletic, super tight. Usually i order my shirts in M and it's close to my body... Fortunately, i chose to order a L when reading the reviews, it fits tight! It feels good. I don't like the rear pocket though. It's big and has 2 large openings on the sides so it is NOT useful if you want to put small items in it, i would be too scared to loose them.

Smooth and strong!   11-05-08

Tired of having flat with my old Michelin tires, i decided to invest in better ones. Wow! I wasn't expecting to feel a difference! The ride is smooth and powerful, i used them for 1-1/2 month so far, no flat, super happy.

Scott Mission 07   01-30-09

I had the previous version of this ski. I think Scott just changed the design but the ski stayed the same. It's a great all around ski. However it skis shorter that it is! I'm 5'10, 190 lbs, racing and freeride background and even if I really liked the 17m radius (yeah radius info is wrong on the website, 16.9m is written on the ski) those skis seemed pretty short. So I went for the Punisher -same radius, same sidecut- in 191cm: even if tips are a bit softer, the main "body" of the ski is stiffer, what's best if you want to rip a bit more on groomy days :)
