Totally Inadequate on Rock

These are light, comfortable, and highly waterproof. If all I did was hike nice graded dirt trails, I'd have no complaints. However, the soles are way too flimsy for walking on rocky trails. I live in Pa., 12 miles from the Appalachian Trail. Believe me, you can feel every rock, pebble, and boulder. After 10 miles, my feet are throbbing. |
