Stick to Traditional Lacing for Now

The lacing system Northwave has rolled out can best be summed up as terrible. The rollers are a good idea, don't get me wrong but they really, really need to improve the actual lace system. The dual pull levers passing through the twin cams leads to a tangled and hard to sort out mess. (Don't try this with gloves on folks) Also, they come with large, unwieldy leather pulls which conveniently stow nowhere. They don't fit in the boot, outside of the boot or anywhere else. Until they fix this system stay away and keep to the traditional laces. Their boots with traditional laces can not be beat... the best made and super comfortable. |
