The small North Face base camp messenger bag was something I had been looking for, for a while since the little hand-me-down high sierra worn out. The sturdy waterproof material was something I had looked for and the ample inside organizational pockets was a pleasant surprise. The small size was good for my petite built although I suspect I could stuff more with a bigger size. I love the yellow which matches my yellow base camp duffel bags! The messenger fits a small Lenovo laptop and one 'flaw' is that it doesn't come with a padded pocket for a laptop. So one would need to get a separate laptop cover. The other thing which would have been nice is a little handle on the top for easier moving about in a hurry. Otherwise, it's a messenger bag I will be taking to places, biking, and be traveling with for a long while!
