I bought a Yakima ROC rack and was not happy with stability. I upgraded it with a ROC Solid and found that it helped imensely to keep my bikes from swinging in the wind behind the car. Basically, all it is another arm, perpendicular to the ROC with loops for threading hooks and nylon straps though. While functional, the straps were kind of disappointing. However, it does work. I highly suggest this upgrade to your ROC--if you want even more stability, get rid of the World Straps and get the rattler strap cradles.
