Had an event in these shoes. The terrain was steep very wet sticky clay (which we have a lot of in New Zealand. My other competitors were have huge trumble with tracktion. The only time I lost Tracktion was on wet tree roots but that is expected. On my first training run I found my left foot went numb but in the event left shoe very lose and had no probs. THESE SHOES ARE A MUST FOR ANYONE RUNNING IN SERIOUS MUD.
