Love em!   04-03-08

I swapped these from Salomon Relay XLTs and am so happy I made the switch. The Issue I had with the old Relay toecap was that it would fall off after a couple of jumps and I would always have to stop and ratchet them back. With the new rubber capstap I could not have been happier. The binding is super stiff and response is excellent. Another poster mentioned that these aren't for the park, but I have yet to hit the park hard nor used soft bindings to know the difference. But on airs with tweakage they aren't terrible in my view. The canting system works well, but it is annoying to mount on different boards because there are now 8 screws per binding and then you have to fine tune everything again. There is also a small issues of the sides of the toecap not having enough play when you strap in. It just feels like the edges towards the baseplate are rubbing against the boot, but I haven't had any boot related problems so it might just be imperfect fit for Salomon boots.

Great Pants   03-21-08

Pants were a great price and are performing pretty much as advertised. Nothing crazy about them, but a nice touch is that the cuffs of the pant legs are reinforced with some elastic so even if step on them they should stand up a little better than usual.

OGIO Big Wheel Duffel - Rolling Gear Bag    Read other reviews of this product

Great, but one bad thing   03-07-08

Like the bag, holds enough stuff for a week of riding clothing. Easy to spot when it comes out of the baggage claim. I have two issues with this bag. 1. No shoulder strap. you could use the regular straps, but cannot if you do have a thick jacket or backpack. 2. When using as a rolling bag, it will not balance itself out properly when in vertical position, therefore you have to prop it against something.

Bern Macon Helmet w/Visor Knit Liner DO NOT USE    This product is no longer available

Not terrible, but not great.   03-07-08

Bought this item and haven't had any real issues. I've only used a Giro Bad Lieutenant so I am comparing it to that. Pros: Low Profile, doesn't make your head look huge. Vents Stylish, personal Preference Protection, I caught an edge pretty fast and although it hurt, it would probably been much worse without it. Cons: Liner is not customizable, and the beanie is not actually a Beanie, but a visor you Velcro in. There are some buttons, but for the life of me could not get them to fit into the holes? With the visor attached, my Oakley Wisdoms fit a little lower, but the fit is acceptable. If you have large goggles you might want to check the fit. Vents have no mesh cover, so snow can get in.
