i bought this shoe cause i do a lot of long distance trail runs in the rocky mountains. the shoes are big, heavy and clunky and stiff and ugly. but i figured what the hell if they last and do the trick. unfotunatley they don't last. the mesh seems started ripping after only a month. the shoes aren't rugged enough to be worth all the weight and stiffness. i later bought the continental divide and found them much more comfortable and they haven't started to fall apart yet.

This is the only shirt I wear for running in cooler weather now. It's light, warm, comfortable and fits nicely under a wind jacket if necessary. It's fitted but not tight, so hangs nicely without being baggy. I really like the dawn/violet colour combination as well. I got to get another one!!

I bought these after the Nitrus shoes disintegrated after a couple of months. The Continental Divide shoes were more comfortable right from the start. Unfortunately they didn't last either. I'm still finding bits of tread all over the place. The mesh or whatever that is also cracked and has holes after only 2 months. I am hard on shoes cause 100% of my runs and races are on trails and in the mountains. But, all the same, I'm done with Montrail. Switched back to Adidas (Supernova Riots). I've had great luck with Adidas trail shoes!
