So far so good
07-08-09 ![]() |
Picked these up at a great price from Chainlove and have really enjoyed them thus far. The optical quality is better than I had expected and the fit is pretty good for those of us with larger melons. I've used these on a couple rides and one paddle trip so far and I haven't been disappointed. |

The extra width is key for riding a single speed and the rise is perfect for whatever position you find yourself in. |

Comfortabe and burly cords
12-19-08 ![]() |
Great cords that go from the office to the trail head without flinching. I personally don't like the double pockets but that's minor. The construction of these pants is outstanding and I expect them to last for many years. |

My wife loves them
12-18-08 ![]() |
She is a PT, thus on her feet all day at the hospital and is very impressed with how comfortable and supportive these shoes are. And she mentioned that she was pleasantly surprised by the solid traction and warmth these shoes have offered in the rather cold and snowy start to our Colorado winter. |

A good all-purpose shell
02-04-09 ![]() |
I've used this shell for a variety activities and it has done well in everything it has faced. For skiing/snowboarding it's a great shell that can be used in a wide range of weather conditions. I took it sailing in the San Juan islands and it proved it's waterproof capabilities in a consistent down pour. My only complaint is the stitching is starting to fray and the hook & loop closures on the wrist have worn out quickly. |

Better grips are available at the same price
01-08-09 ![]() |
I didn't mind these grips but just felt like the comfort level was lacking considering how thick they were. However they were extra grippy (both wet & dry) and had that kinda unique thing going for them but really I'm happier with WTB and Salsa grips. |

Lasts a couple runs
01-05-09 ![]() |
My expectations weren't high since this is a paste rub on wax. It does the job when you lack the time to break out the iron but it only lasts one or two runs before wearing off. |

Superior wool, superior craftsmanship
12-21-08 ![]() |
The fit and quality of wool is perfect for keeping your core temperature just right whether you are skinning up or bombing down. Personally I feel this is a better product than similar Icebreaker or Patagonia products. |

Good insulation
12-18-08 ![]() |
Very light, packs well, and the insulation is sufficient for most endeavors. The cuffs have stretched out and frayed rather quickly and I prefer waist cinches on both sides to minimize the amount of elastic cord hanging at belt level. |

Pretty good
12-18-08 ![]() |
Good lightweight and low profile hiker that is very comfortable and does not pack out. The sole is a bit softer than I expected and thus wears a bit quickly. The style reminds me of old Adidas hikers from 15+ years ago which is not a bad thing. |

Good all around PFD
12-18-08 ![]() |
Hardly notice that I'm wearing a PFD when this sucker is on. I've got broad shoulders and it does rise a bit more than I'd like but for the most part it's a very solid PFD. And the front pocket is super handy for holding everything from a digital camera to a PBR. |

Comfy grips
01-08-09 ![]() |
I've had two pairs of the lock-ons and one pair of standard grips and really liked them for a wide range of riding. They are comfortable for the long rides and have really good grip when wet or dry. They do wear a bit quickly but that's a minor detail. |

does what it should
10-07-09 ![]() |
Fortunately, I haven't really needed the protection that this pressure suit offers. It's a fairly comfortable suit and being able to zip off the spine protection is really nice. The shoulder pads are larger than expected and the forearm pads could use an additional strap to adjust for varying arm lengths. |

Good so far
04-30-09 ![]() |
I've only had these gloves for a month so I cannot comment on how they perform in colder temps. But in the handful of late season dumps we've had, these gloves have been great. They stay dry, the leather has withstood some abuse, and the fit is just about perfect. |

Still great after all these years
03-05-09 ![]() |
I have yet to find another goggle that outperforms the A Frames. They vent well, they are very comfortable on my largish noggin, they fit well with my helmet, and they look sick. The Blue Iridium lenses work really well for Colorado blue bird days and have survived numerous swipes from stray tree branches. |

Great watch
02-03-09 ![]() |
I've had my Rover for nearly 5 years and I still love it. I have gotten many compliments on it's appearance from both guys and gals. It's heavy but not too heavy, the band is comfortable, and the double clasp is secure. I've beat the hell out of this watch yet it still keeps precise time and wears it's battle scars with pride. |

Foggy like grandpa's memory
01-08-09 ![]() |
So yeah, the field of view is great considering they aren't spherical. And the Sensor lens is great for flat and low light. I have an older pair with the red mirrored lens which have worked well on blue bird days. But ugh, they fog much quicker than any of my A frames and it just annoys me that a helmet helper has to be used if you happen to wear a helmet larger than a small. |

Good while it lasts
01-05-09 ![]() |
I was lucky enough to be given a full assortment of Toko Dibloc waxes and they have a great formulation for various snow conditions but the wax seems to break down rather quickly ... the wax is great on the first day out but after that it's noticeable that it's time to throw some more wax on the base. |

Just got it and really really really like it
12-22-08 ![]() |
Below zero and 20 mph winds while skiing this weekend and didn't have any problems at all with keeping the head warm. The fit is perfect, it covers the ears and neckline really well while the forehead comes down just far enough to prevent gap with goggles or glasses. |

Simply awesome
12-18-08 ![]() |
Just a great product for Giro helmets. The thought of smashing an ear bud into my skull due to a solid wreck always bugged me. The ear pads are just as warm as the original and the in-line mute/volume is really nice. |

A decent lid
12-18-08 ![]() |
It's hard to find any serious faults with this helmet. It's light and has a low profile; the adjustable vents keep the noggin comfortable; the visor is handy for blocking a high sun and low branches; the addition of a TuneUps kit is awesome. But as others have mentioned the visor makes it tough to lift your goggles off your face and I feel as though the visor somewhat limits airflow to the goggles. |

Perfect shell. Great for backcountry use with it's bomber construction and low weight. This my 3rd season with this shell and I wouldn't be surprized if I get another 2 seasons out of it. The fit is perfect for me, a bit baggy with slightly longer sleeve lengths then other shells I have owned. |

Perfect

I bought my first pair while spending a year abroad in Wollongong and they lasted 7 years. My second pair is on year 5 and shows no sign of letting me down. I like these boots because they look good for both work and play and can be dressed up or down depending on the situation. They are very comfortable for all day wear and have a fair amount of traction for snow/ice. |

Just not that great
12-18-08 ![]() |
I really wanted to like these gloves and Swany has never let me down in the past. But they just don't keep my fingers as warm as they should for the amount of insulation they have. The leather is very nice and I have to admit that they are constructed to withstand tons of abuse but I really feel there are better gloves out there for the price. |
